We get all of our shipping rates for UPS and USPS direct from their respective servers. We have NO handling charges. Please realize that we can not offer a cheaper rate without raising our prices. If you feel that shipping rates are too expensive contact UPS and the USPS and tell them. We did not raise the rates for the OCB Choice option when the USPS raised rates. We also credit back to the customer when the published rates are higher than what we were charged, i.e OCB quotes Residential Rates but the customer has a valid Commercial Address.
New Flat Rate Our Coffee Barn Choice shipping option. This just means we will choose the cheapest possible way for the order to be shipped, at our discretion. To Hawaii and Alaska, we will ship up to one USPS large Flatrate box at the OCB Choice price. The choice may show for International orders but we will NOT honor it for International orders.
If you live in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North or South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska or Illinois we are starting to ship via Spee Dee Delivery Service. Spee Dee offers a sizeable savings compared to UPS or the USPS.
We use UPS and USPS for most of our shipping. We are currently shipping to all 50 US States, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Australia, most of Europe and Canada. Most of the items that are shipped from a distributor for us will only ship to the US. Please contact us to find out if we can ship your order outside of the US.
USPS Flat Rate to Alaska or any US address: We can ship any small, retail coffee orders via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box. Green coffee will go in a flat rate box, up to 13 pounds. Roasted coffee will fit a total of 6 or 7 pounds. We always ship with a Flat Rate box when we can and you choose Priority Mail for a shipping method and credit the savings back to you. For good measure you could remind us by asking for a USPS flat rate box in the comments section.
Hottop Coffee Roasters will ship to the US and Canada direct from HottopUSA.
Racilio,Saeco,Pasquini, Bunn Home models and Bosch equipment will only ship to the USA via UPS Ground
If you are paying with PayPal we will ONLY ship to a PayPal confirmed address. Please confirm your address with PayPal. Also, please let the Auto Return feature bring you back to Our Coffee Barn from the PayPal site so we get your order into our system.
The Bunn Commercial items will be drop shipped direct from Bunn.
All of the La Pavoni Home and Commercial Espresso equipment will be drop shipped from Mt. Vernon NY. Signatures may be required on the more expensive items.
All Commercial Bunn orders will require a signature on delivery. Please consider this when choosing your shipping address.
Any time Free Shipping is listed it only applies to the lower 48 US States.

For items with Free Shipping. Our store may let all customers checkout with free shipping, however we have to charge shipping to all non lower 48 states (USA) customers and International customers. We will call or send you an email with the shipping charges, before processing your credit card.
Contact us if you would like something shipped to another country we may be able to work something out.
To ensure the freshest roasted coffee beans possible. We are only roasting coffee as it is ordered.
Here is our roasting and shipping plan.
1. All roasted orders will be roasted as we receive them, and on scheduled roasting days. We are now roasting on Monday,Wednesday and Friday mornings. Please see our blogs Fresh Roasted Coffee page for details.
2. Ground coffee may be allowed to de gas for up to 24 hours before grinding and shipping.
3.All free coffee with equipment purchases will be roasted as we receive the orders and shipped within 48 hours of roasting.
4.All green coffee bean orders will be shipped as we receive them, usually within 2 business days
We will ship coffee to an APO address, however we have most of the espresso equipment drop shipped from various distributors and most will not ship to an APO or FPO address. Please contact us if you are shipping to an APO before ordering equipment.
Order Cancellation and Return Policy
To allow us to offer the free shipping and,or the special Buy Now pricing we are currently offering on most of the equipment we carry, we are forced to implement the following Order Cancellation and Returns Policy.
Limited 30 Day Return Policy
For warranty issues, please contact the manufacturer listed in your warranty information. If you would like to return any equipment please contact us prior to returning it. We would like to try to correct any problems before returns are made. Items must be returned in the original packaging. If the item arrives damaged, not in the original packaging or missing parts, we will deduct accordingly for repairs, we will not pay return shipping. Returns for color, dimension issues or other common dislikes are subject to a 15% restocking fee. (It will not fit under my cupboards, or, I just wanted to try it out, for example). You can not try out a toaster bought at Target! If the items dimensions are not listed or you would like a better picture, contact us. Absolutly no returns accepted after 30 Days from delivery date.
Order Cancelation Policy
Canceled orders are subject to a 25% restocking fee if the item has been shipped. Any returns made without our prior permission are subject to the same 25% restocking fee. If we have not placed your equipment order with our distributors, and you wish to cancel, the restocking fee is void. If your order is in transit and you wish to cancel, you would be subject to the restocking fee. To explain a little further, we are charged a restocking fee by our distributors, and it is no guaranty that we can stop or change the delivery once the order is in transit. We are a small Family business and we can not afford canceled orders, and still offer the low prices.
If you would like to return any roasted or green coffee beans please contact us prior to returning them.
